- 2004-2006 VW Rabbit cabin air filter is located inside of the car on the passenger car, under the glove box compartment.
How to change VW Rabbit 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 cabin air filter?
- Open the passenger door.
- Look under the glove box compartment and here unscrew the two bolts that secures the foam foil and remove it from the dashboard by pulling down. After you do that you will be able to see VW Rabbit cabin air filter housing cover.
- Slide the cabin air filter housing cover to the right to unclip from the housing.
- Pull the 2004-2006 VW Rabbit cabin air filter straight down to remove from the housing.
- Insert the new VW Rabbit cabin air filter in to the housing and then insert cabin air filter housing cover back in the place. It is easier to fix the cabin air filter housing cover which hold the cabin air filter filter before and push in to the housing together.
- Push the cabin air filter housing cover from the right to the left to secure the cabin air fiter in to the housing.
- Put the foam foil back in place and fix it with the two bolts.
