    1. Location of 2003 Lincoln Navigator cabin filter.The unit under the glove box is a solid unit with no drawers or seams to pull out a drawer. Like I said it is a solid unit. The Filter is not under the vent by the hood on the passenger side.

    1. Cabin air filter on 2008 Lincoln Navigator is located in the same place like previous models. To locate and change cabin air filter open the glove compartment, push on the left and right side of the glove box to take out. Here you can locate cabin air filter plastic cover. Here you can locate 2008 Lincoln Navigator cabin air filter.

      It seems that 2005 Lincoln navigator doesn’t have cabin air filter. Although if you have the option of heated or cooling seats you should have air filter there. For air conditioned seats: The filter is located below the front seat cushion on vehicles which are equipped with this option. I hope that I’ve been helpful.

  5. I have a 2000 Lincoln Navigator, after looking around on line and in the location above, I have found out that Lincoln did not put a cabin air filter in the early 2000’s. Not sure about the later dates, but this seems to be something that is not on my car. Please advise me if this is not correct as I would like to maintain all aspects of my vehicle, especially air quality in the cabin.

    1. Aje did you find the filter on your 2004.I’m looking under glove compartment, i removed cover. But only see a solid black pieceof plastic. No filter to pull out and replace. Help please.

    1. you will probably need to install a Ford kit that will convert space under glove box to cabin filter otherwise there isn’t any. you may have filter under front seats if you have air conditioning seats.

  7. Hello. For your year model you can try the following steps: remove the glove box compartment and dash panel to get access to your cabin air filter compartment. Take out the screws and open the door and then you will can remove the old filter. Insert the new filter and close back everything. I hope it will work.

    1. That has to be the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s a filter. One that should be changed very regularly. And you have to spend 3 hours disassemblying your car to get to it. What brainless engineer did this.

    1. Some models don’t have a cabin air filter installed from the factory. But you can try to install one by buying a Cabin Filter Retrofit Kit.

  8. My local Ford service guys want to change my cabin ait filter for $85 on my 1998 Navigator. Three questions:
    Is there a filter? If so, how do will they access it?
    Is it worth the $85 they want to charge?
