Air conditioner filter on Honda Civic is located inside of car behind the glove box.

To change cabin air filter on Honda Civic first time you need to remove the glove box and for this you need to open the glove box and then remove the arm that holds the glove box.

Press the 2 sides of the glove box to take this out like in picture bellow.

Here you can locate the cabin air filter housing cover. Push on the 2 tabs locate left and right side of the cabin air filter frame to take the filter out.

Push the 2 tabs from the filter frame to unhooking from the housing cover. Take the frame out and replace the old cabin air filter with the new one with the air flow indicating arrow pointing down.
