    1. Hi,

Starting with model from 2003 year, the cabin air filter on the glove box compartment is no longer available as a factory option. They redesign the HVAC system and there is no space provided for the filter. Although the spare parts catalog shows that there is a replacement filter available, there is no cabin air filter on 2004 year model.

  1. Any ideas on how to get rid of the dusty odor in my 2003 GMC SIERRA? Since this particular model doesn’t have an air filter. I’m not getting any cold air now, don’t know if it is because of the dibris formed into the ac system.

    1. Try to clean your AC ventilation system.
To do this you need to buy A/C Vent Odor Cleaner Spray then turn on on maximum and push the “recirculate” button.
Spray this in all you vent from the exterior (bellow windshield whippers) and interior.

        1. I just went through the same thing. there is a place under the glove box that is perfect size for air filter but they built the truck without one that you replace. they do make a kit that you can retro fit one in that spot by cutting the cover off.
