  3. Does the 2000 ford Expedition have only 1 cabin Air filter thats located under the Glove Department & is their another one that also needs replacing. How many Air filters does the entire truck have & do I need to replace all of them.

    1. Hi. Normally the cabin air filters can be located on three places: behind the glove box compartment, under the glove box compartment or under the hood, left side of the engine, close to the heater fan, under the windshield wipers. But, from my knowledge Ford Expedition 2011 has no cabin air filter.I suggest you to check the owner’s manual of your vehicle. The vehicles without a cabin air filter have a plastic mesh which stops the leaves and similar things to enter the air conditioning system. This doesn’t need to be changed.

    1. Hi. From my research 2013 Ford Expedition doesn’t have a cabin air filter. This applies to the Ford Expedition 2007-2014. Cars without cabin air filters ussually have a plastic mesh that stops all the leaves and other similar things to get inside the HVAC system. I hope my answer was helpful to you.

  6. Dear all,

    help please… i can’t find my 2004 ford expedition 5.4L V8 AC filter.

    1. I have the same suv as well and all I see is the big black box as well. I took the glove box off and then you can see the screws. Some screws I can’t get to unless i take the whole dash off. I said screw it. Now I’m wondering if it even has one. You can buy the filter at the auto store for it (looked up online for the suv match). So now I’m confuse as well.

  7. How do you remove the filter housing cover for a 2002 ford expedition. I took off the initial triangle shaped thing below the glove compartment. Now there is another cover above that. No screws to take it off. Only screw holders to hold screws above it

  8. I have a 2009 Ford Expedition. I was trying to locate the cabin air filter but read above that my model may not have one.
I have been experiencing leakage after rain storms, moisture build up on passenger side floor. It was suggested to change the cabin air filter and to clean out the cowl under the windshield wiper. How would I open it?
