There is no air filter cabin in the Dodge Magnum 3.5 6 cylinder sxt
I have a 2005 Dodge magnum SXT 3.5L 6 cylinder and just replaced cabin filter, maybe I have a Polish Dodge!
Can you take a picture of your filter and where it went. I have the same magnum but 06, and I looked under the cowl but it doesn’t look like a filter would fit in it. Thank you
Most Chrysler/Dodge LX Platform (Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger & Magnum) cars did NOT come with the cabin air filter installed as it was a dealer option, or part part of an option package.
The instructions on this page are accurate for the vehicles which came with the cabin air filter option. If your vehicle does not have a door to pull down to allow access to the filter, then yours was one of the majority that did not come with the option.
There is a retrofit option that, if desired, can be installed by a dealership or qualified technician. It’s not a difficult job, but has to be done correctly to provide proper filter operation.
