  • Remove filter housing cover and remove the filters. Remove first filter by pulling straight down  and slide second filter forward and do the same procedure.

  • Insert the first filter and slide in the right place and then insert the second filter.
  • Reassemble kick plate.

  5. Truck stinks so I bought the retro kit to replace the cabin air filter on my 2011 Silverado ls crew. Under the kick panel I found what looked nothing like the videos. Different placement in wiring harness and not cutout or screw hole for the retro cover. Don’t see where I can post a photo. Any ideas? Thanks

    1. I’m having the same issues with my 2011 Silverado ls. Same set up as you described. I’ve read that 2011 Silverado’s don’t have cabin air filters. Well I’m assuming to different models I guess.

  7. to the left of wires covered with a coating is a rounded corner square about 1 inch wide. mine has a tab that you push, and the cover can be pulled out of the way. the filter was visible. I really had to pull hard, and out came the filthiest filter I have ever seen. I am going to check as I see they mention 2 filters. and to get a replacement in may be difficult. But I did get the one out!!

  8. I have a 2000 Chevy 3/4 ton work truck and cant find the cabin filters. The blower motor is set differently than the videos or pictures shown on you tube. I need help!!! This is my sons truck and its hot as hell in Tx. Any suggestions or a link?
