First time you need to open the hood and remove the waterstrip from the passenger side (see picture).
Remove the clips that secure the cabin air filter plastic cover. Each clip have a pen and base. Use a screwdriver to remove the pen and the remove the base (see picture bellow).
Pull up from plastic cover to remove from vehicle to pollen filter and unhook the cabin air filter cover and pull up the old filter to take out.
Install a new cabin air filter with the airflow indicating arrow pointing to the passenger side and reassemble the cabin air filter housing cover, plastic cover and waterstrip.
