To have access and to replace the cabin air filter on a BMW 318 follow the next instruction.
First time you need to close vents and to remove the screws like in picture, open the glove compartment and remove the locking tabs and screw under vents.
Remove ventilator panel and glove compartment door and remove screw above door hinges (see picture).
After do this remove in this order the next pieces: screw from both side of glove compartment like in picture bellow, remove the light cover, remove the bolt, unplug and remove light, remove glove compartment.
The next step is to remove cover and plastic from air duct and then remove air duct, move any cable to side to can push terminat block upwards out of holder. Turn wheel on filter housing cover 90° counter clockwise and remove the filter hosing cover, remove the old cabin air filter and replace with the new one. Reassemble all pieces back.
