First time you need to open the hood and lift up on cowl clips to release clips from front side like in picture bellow.
Remove cowl to locate cabin air filter housing cover. Remove filter from filter housing by sliding to the left and lifting up, replace filter and reassemble (see in picture).
Replace 2001-2004 Audi A6 cabin air filter.
First time open the hood, pull back weatherstrip from passenger side of cowl and Remove passenger side of cowl by pulling up and out, disengage retaining clip, replace old fitler with new one and reassemble.
