- Press down on the filter frame to disengage from the top of the housing and pull up to remove from the vehicle.
- Remove the old Ford Mustang cabin air filter from the frame and insert new cabin air filter in the frame with the air flow indicator pointing to the rear of vehicle.
- Fix the filter in the frame good with the retaining tabs to prevent air bypassing the filter.
- Reinstall the frame in to the Ford Mustang cabin air filter housing.
- Be careful, the frame has to tabs at the bottom that must be fixed in their holes.
- Install passenger cowl back in place and close the hood.
